“Sell in May” early this year?

Posted on April 24, 2012 in Futures Trading | by

So the ‘Sell in May’ may have showed up early this year again. Stocks are off handily this morning with the DJ down 160 and the S&P off 20. We cannot short the S&P again until it breaks 1350 basis the June contract on a daily close. Silver is making new lows on the year, breaking through $31 last night. If we close below $30, there may be some short potential.

Here’s what real investors like YOU have to say about Visible Trends-

Jim: I finished reading your futures trading newsletter last night. Thank you for sending it. It is one of the best and most comprehensive pieces I have read on the economy, and we read several newspapers every day, including the Wall Street Journal. I marked my calendar for March 13, looking forward to your next newsletter. Cheers... Al Bradshaw
